Sovereign by design
Deployable entirely within your borders, your infrastructure, and your control, up to and including fully air-gapped. Your data and your decisions remain your own.
Ashforde builds sovereign, high-assurance systems for the decisions that cannot be wrong: in space, in law, in finance, and across the regulated enterprise. Engineered to a standard that outlasts the technology of the day.
Across space, finance, law, and the regulated enterprise, the systems that now advise and act carry consequences that cannot be reversed, and that must withstand scrutiny from regulators, auditors, and adversaries alike.
Yet most are opaque, hosted beyond your borders, and accountable to no one. Ashforde exists to close that gap: to build systems whose competence can be demonstrated, whose reasoning can be examined, and whose control never leaves the operator's hands.
Capability is not enough. The standard is assurance.
We concentrate where the cost of error is highest: in orbit, and in the regulated decisions made on the ground. The work is described here by domain, and the particulars are shared in confidence.
Client names, programmes, and product detail are disclosed privately, under appropriate terms.
Four commitments hold across everything we build. They are what make the work defensible, and durable.
Deployable entirely within your borders, your infrastructure, and your control, up to and including fully air-gapped. Your data and your decisions remain your own.
Every consequential output is evaluated, recorded, and open to audit. Performance is measured against declared standards, not asserted.
Systems that plan and act across many steps, while command remains unambiguously human. Autonomy is bounded by design, not by hope.
Engineered to the rigour of the space sector, the discipline that governs systems where there is no second attempt.
Ashforde is led by Chakshu Baweja, an engineer and operator who builds systems trusted with decisions that cannot fail, and runs the companies that stand behind them.
He has engineered and run systems inside the European Space Agency, built the reasoning systems behind Ashforde's work in law, finance, and the regulated enterprise, and led the teams, service delivery, and operations that turn hard technology into a working business.
Few can move between a system that flies spacecraft, one that reasons over law and markets, and the operations that run a business. Fewer can hold all three to a single standard. It is why Ashforde answers to operational standards, never to the standards of a demonstration.
Our clients, programmes, and roadmap are shared privately with partners and investors, under appropriate terms. To begin a conversation:
